Greetings from (Snowy) New England
Hello from the Great Northeast! This year - our second year of business - we've had the opportunity to work with some incredibly inspiring companies and individuals. Over the past couple of months, we've been working hard with our heads down - tinkering, planning and growing our impact.
This summer, Emily Kanter and I moved our home and business operations from Portland, OR to Boston, MA, in large part to get involved in her family’s 40 year-old natural products business in Cambridge. Meanwhile, we continue to grow the Owl, Fox & Dean collective across the country.
We now have people on the ground in Boston, San Francisco, and Portland - three cities that have emerged as 21st century epicenters for innovation and creativity.
Here's what we have going on through the end of 2014:
- On Wednesday November 5th, I'll be teaching a class at Boston Magazine’s Power of Ideas Symposium at District Hall.
- We will host a couple of free workshops to introduce people to the practice of leadership in the Boston area. Details soon.
- We’re launching both online and in-person leadership classes based on the Personal Leadership Canvas.
- This week we're opening up five spots for individual leadership coaching. Interested?
We'll be sharing more from the OF&D laboratory soon, and you'll be hearing from other voices in the collective. In the meantime, stay warm and dry out there!
